Special Commendation

Tim New

Emeritus Professor Tim New has broad interests in insect systematics, ecology and conservation. He is widely recognised as one of the leading advocates for insect conservation in Australia and worldwide. Tim has authored a staggering 480 refereed papers and book chapters. If that were not enough for one lifetime, Tim is also a prolific author of books with 50 titles published on a very broad array of issues in entomological and conservation biology. He is a very worthy recipient of the Special Certificate of Commendation. Furthermore, he is the first spineless biologist to receive this Award.
