Membership of the Society is available to any person who has an interest or active role in Australian zoology.
Several membership types are available. Choose the appropriate type below.
Note: All applications must be approved by the Council of RZS NSW. At the first meeting of the Council following receipt of an application, the Council shall determine the admission or rejection of the applicant. The Council shall not be required to give any reason for rejection of an applicant.
If your application is rejected then all membership fees paid will be fully refunded.
Scientific membership may be granted to persons who holds a degree or diploma, the requirements of which include a systematic study of zoology or biology; or to persons who have a serious interest, amateur or professional, in an aspect of zoology as approved by Council. By default, Scientific membership includes full access to RZS NSW publications including the Australian Zoologist.

Proof of enrolment as a student must be provided. Please include a photocopy/scan of your student card with this application.
Applicants must be under 18 years of age. Date of birth must be provided and a parent or guardian must complete this form. Applying for membership does require a unique email address for each member. If the junior member does not have their own email address, then please contact us at office@rzsnsw.org.au and we can help you set up the membership.
